"From Colorado Springs, exit I-25 at the Woodmen exit and head left. " This may be obvious to many but you need to go West on Woodment. It's only left if you are coming from the south.
No access to this peak, until further notice, due to the 2012 Waldo Canyon Fire restoration efforts.
As of August 31 2013 the open space and trail are once again open!
