This summit, showing on its east side an high (700m) rock wall, is the East shoulder of Piramide Vincent but is considered belonging to the 4000 of the Alps.

From its summit a long rocky (but easy) ridge (Cresta del Soldato = Soldier Ridge) goes down to the Punta Vittoria (3435m) crossing a secondary spur called Cresta del Soldato (3611m) that can be easily reached starting from the arrival station of the cableway of Punta Indren (Alagna Valsesia)

On the big wall there are at most 2 routes, one crossing the big channel (very dangerous) and another one, the "Via degli Alpini" that goes straight, with some very difficult passages, along the wall on the left side (S) of the channel.

The N wall also has been climbed but very seldom or maybe never been repeated.

The normal route, ascending along the western slopes is easy and can be used as an alternative approach to the Piramide Vincent.
