Old Woman - West Face

Old Woman - West Face

This is west face of the Old Woman rock formation near the Hidden Valley Campground. Green dots mark the route, red dots mark bolts, and the funky combo is a bolt anchor. Once atop one of the routes, either anchor can be reached on belay and many of the routes can then be top-roped. The routes shown are as follows:
  1. Northwest Chimney - 5.2
  2. Lower Band - 5.10b R
  3. Dog Leg - 5.8
  4. The Fang - 5.11b R
  5. Double Cross - 5.7+
  6. Route 499 - 5.11b
  7. Double Start - 5.7
  8. Band Saw - 5.10c
  9. Iron Man Traverse - 5.10c
  10. Middle Band - 5.10d R
  11. Triente Anos - 5.10b
  12. Middle Band - 5.10d R
  13. Orphan - 5.9
Note: This topo was drawn by a drunken wombat and should be treated as such. Star ratings are my own out of a 5 star scale. For more star ratings, buy the guidebook.
