On the approach to the...
On the approach to the Crescent Moon Couloir, it was warm enough for me to start with a t-shirt and shorts but when it got windy above the lake, I put on a windshirt which did a great job. Photo taken by Bruce of San Jose on May 26, 2002. The photo shows a frozen Lake Winnemucca (left center) and Elephant's Back (left horizon).
