Re: Beautiful

Thanks eza, It was really amazing to see the mountain's shadow! I took a shot zoomed in of just the shadow, then pulled back to wide angle to get the signpost in the scene. I would liked to have moved to a position to line them up better, but there was no way to do that, and the shadow was gone in a minute anyway.

I'm planning to use this as the banner photo for a SP trip report that I hope to have by next week. Glad you like the shot. - Nelson

Re: Beautiful

I'm already looking forward that trip report. And -by the way- I don't think a better position would have improved the shot. If anything, it would have been as good as this one.

Great Shot

Nelson- Congratulations on a great shot and a great climb! I was #1 to read your trip report- it was every bit as good as I expected it would be. You definitely raised the bar on Kili Trip Reports! Thanks!

Re: Great Shot

Thanks much BJ, glad you like the TR. It took a while to post it because I wanted to include the safari photos, since that was a big part of the trip. But the mountain really was fantastic!

Strange photo

The angle and the disposition is very odd and it's great to see it.
Beautiful.

Re: Strange photo

We had already left the summit and my jaw dropped when I looked back and saw the shadow of the peak. I tried a couple of different compositions by zooming, but decided I liked this the bast. Thanks for your comment.
