Re: True summitWas airy and exposed but not super difficult, I went around the pinacle to the climbers right. To the left is easier but was covered with slippery snow.

maybe you can tell meI was wondering what the summit area was like, broad, narrow, exposed? Because I like to bivy overnight on peaks (mainly for photographic and aesthetic purposes) and was wondering if there was a little nook flat area not exposed to a midsleep roll off a cliff type thing? ON this one I would consider bivying on the lesser summit as I believe the true summit to be a solid 4th class scramble that one wouldnt want to climb down on a wet moring with a fairly large pack? correct? would greatly appreciate info regarding this!! Cheers

Re: maybe you can tell meThe true summit has room to bivy on but as I recall the subpeak is probably too rocky and jagged to use as a bivy site. Yes the true summit is a stiff exposed scrambble. There is however some fabulous spots along the way before reaching the summit one could bivy on, I have a picture from our bivy site on my profile
