Opening Day in the Ice Park

This photo was taken on opening day in the ice park - the route was unclimbed, and I just did top roped it. With a lot of traffic many of the routes have "little steps" and axe can be just hooked in the pre-maid holes, but usually with night water sprinkle "ice farming" most of the major stuff gets covered up.

Glad there's a DIFFERENCE between "ice farming"
and "buying the farm."

Be careful up there ... life is too short !!!

You're right. I don't understand it because I
never attempted it. As long as YOU think you're
safe, then I guess I'll sleep better tonight
knowing there's people who think they're
safer then I'll be when I cross the street tomorrow.
