Orava castle

When approaching Oravsky Podzamok from the NW, this amazing scene appears. On an impossible rock blade there is an old castle, perching more than 100 meters above the river bed of Orava. The mountain range where it belongs to is Oravska Magura. February 17th, 2016.

Yes, Tomek, only a little snow on higher regions. Luckilly, this time hiking was not the main purpose of our visit. My wife wanted to visit places, where her grandfather was on the World War One frontline - 101 years ago. That was near Varadka, Nižna Polianka and Beskid pass. Still, weather could be a bit better ;)
