Our route up north face

This photo shows our route up the north face in late July, 2010: From the south side of Yang Yang Lakes, follow trail up forested arm oriented about 15 degrees north of west from lake. Pass over snow field in bowl towards the snow chute, which gets you on Le Conte arm. There is a rap sling at the top of the chute. Follow trail along arm to snowfield below Le Conte. Take large snowfield up to climber's left below summit/rock ledges. Traverse rock ledges climbers right (there are cairns) below small/high snowpatch. Climb up above high/small snowfield just below summit to pass through notch in ridge. From notch, climb diagonally toward summit. There is a short (10-20ft) traverse at summit.
