Looks good fits great but NOT weatherproof!
Great looking jacket with a nice slim biker-jacket cut. This was one of my first Mammut Jacket back in the 2004/2005 season. At the time I wasn't familiar too much with the brand other than climbing hardware and their relationship with Raichle boots. The Anabol was my favorite softshell jacket (after my Mammut Clime) for it's perfectly tailor fit, articulated sleeves, and it's unique dual sided weaving of breathable fabric.
I mainly used it for urban and light hiking rather than extreme outdoor pursuits and it served me well.

Back then in 2003-2005 the Anabol jacket, which was sold alongside the pricier and heavier fleece pile Mammut Ultimate Pro Jacket, from around the $80 to $130 range which was perfect for what it is and what it offered.

In time I believe the SOFtech Alto Jacket and the SOFtech line replaced this earlier Anabol Jacket.
