| Garon Coriz | Nice Short Climb  Date Climbed: Sep 30, 2012 | |
| With Will and Mason about 8 am. It was a beautiful morning with lots of tourists watching. I felt the crux was when the crack meandered left and offered awkward fist jams. The lower portions of the climb went like a gym climb, which was fun. We lowered each other rather than rappel. The sandstone on top doesn't look too strong. | |

| Climbed Owl Rock via standard route with my 7-year old son and five friends. Fun trad lead with great pro, great summit views. | |

| Did after Bullwinkle. Faith decided ~1/3 up that she didn't like it, & didn't have enough pieces for her comfort, so she lowered, & I led. After Bullwinkle, I was pleasantly surprised. Rock was comparably way better than Bullwinkle, with no death blocks en route, & the pro' was good. Perhaps the nicest thing was the climbing- thoroughly enjoyable! Scramble to summit from anchor provocative too (glad I had a double-length runner along :) ). Great little climb! 3rd(?) desert sandstone spire. Faith came back & led it later, which was cool. | |

| My 2nd ascent with Joe K in tow this time. Folks are rapping off the top pin because they are afraid to downclimb back down to the fixed rappel. Leaving huge grooves on top. Please quit doing that. Great weather, only one other party this go around. Good to combine with Tonka Tower why you are out there. | |

| Mary and I spent the day exploring Arches. We climbed this excellent route to start the day and then hiked to Delicate Arch, with some nasty weather on the hike back. Once things dried out a bit, we explored the arches in the Windows area. | |

| Totally whipped from Standing Rock the day before, we wanted to climb something short and moderate. This fit the bill perfectly. The climb is really fun and worth doing. | |

| climbed the owl w/aaron as our fourth, and final tower of our weekend trip. steep, airy and exposed crack was a pleasure to climb as the holds were great and your blood was rushing as the crux section tried to push me left out of the crack. super climb! jamie | |

| Great day with Stacy, Megan and Jonathan. Zero wind. Fast and furious easy 5.8 trad pitch, but several couples in front of us took an enormous amount of time. Like waiting at Disney World on an October weekend I am afraid. | |

| nice route but the heat and a night of drinking made me get sick while trying the crux. At least I warned my partner and she very quickly moved out from under the climb. at least she didn't panic and take me off belay. | ||
