Most everyone is expecting the amazing alpine scenery found along the Rockwall Trail, but perhaps not all will expect the impressive meadows of wildflowers which are common along the way. Particularly interesting is the variety of paintbrush which can be observed. We saw deep red, pink, pink and white, and even yellow paintbrush - the first I had time I had seen yellow paintbrush.
