Pale di San Martino plateau, the largest in Dolomiti (with a 50 km2 surface), is the stunning lunar world well known and appreciated by hikers. During 2013 July, in the plateau there was still plenty of snow. A new interesting perspective for a place where I had been several times before. I stopped walking at Riviera di Manna, not far from Busa di Manna, one of the coldest place in the Alps in wintertime.
