Panorama from the western slopes of Punta Clogstafel

The black hill is a small, unnamed peak directly east of Passo Busin (2493m), the high pass between Lago Vannino (2177m) and Lago Busin Inferiore (2388m). The hiking trail between the two lakes crosses Passo Busin. The hill is about 100 m higher, and on this side is another, higher saddle, ±2530m. To climb Punta Clogstafel, which is my plan for the day, it makes no sense to go to Passo Busin and then over the hill; it's easier to head directly for the higher saddle. In fact, even before reaching it, I started making my way up the western slopes of the mountain. Further away, from the center to the right, are Pizzi della Satta (2830m), Monte Minoia (2800m) and Punta della Scatta (2720m). Between the last to lies the Scatta Minoia pass (2599m), home of Bivacco Conti. 28 June 2013.
