OverviewPanther Mountain is located in the Saranac Lakes region of the Adirondack Park in NY. Not a High Peak and not even a very high elevation, this small mountain makes for a nice little break and has some nice views. At .6 miles long, this hike is easily done round trip in under an hour. Getting TherePanther Mountain can be reached from Tupper Lake NY by traveling east on Rt 3 for approxiamtely 6 miles. There will be a sign for Panther Mountain on your left and a small parking lot across the road on your right.Red TapeNormal Adirondack Park rules apply. This is a short hike with no trail register. CampingNo camping necessary for this short hike. However, there are numerous places to camp in the local area.
