Take the Brenner Motorway A22 to the exit Mezzolombardo/San Michele all'Adige. Get on S43 through Mezzolombardo and after Rocchetta turn left onto S421 which leads through Andalao to Molveno. Molveno is pittorequely situated at the shore of the lake that carries the same name (868m). To get to the trailhead take the telecabina (a two person standup lift) to Rifugio Pradel (first stage only). Alternately you can hike along Val delle Seghe towards Rifugio Croz dell'Altissimo.
This route starts at Rifugio Pradel. It first uses the trails that lead to Rifugio Croz dell'Altissimo which is situated at the base of the mountain. The trails are properly signed and can't be missed. At the rifugio the trails join the direct route from Molveno, which you can hike if you want to save money for the telecabina. At Rifugio Croz dell'Altissimo the climbing routes up the big wall start which are described on the main page.
From the rifugio the trail follows the Valle delle Seghe to the Passo del Clamer. At the end of this section you have to climb rather steeply through a creek-bed. In return for the sufferings you are awarded perfect views towards the central Brenta peaks which get even more perfect as you head from Passo del Clamer to Passo dei Lastieri. From there you already see the summit of Croz dell'Altissimo. You meet the Pass dei Camosci trail just a couple of meters away from the summit which you can climb using a narrow ledge. Shortly before the summit block you are awarded the thousand meter view down into Val delle Seghe.
This ascent route can be combined with the one through Passo dei Camosci to form a neat circle. For the whole trip you must calculate 6 to 8h (depending on whether you can ignore the vistas or whether you have to stop at each viewpoint to take your pictures).
Hiking gear is sufficient.
