The Pebble Creek Trail is point-to-point starting at the Warm Creek Trailhead in NE Yellowstone. From there it climbs 1,000 feet in 1.5 miles to a ridge before dropping down to the Pebble Creek drainage and following the creek until the trail ends at Pebble Creek's confluence with Soda Butte Creek. This photo was taken on the initial 1.5 mile climb as the trail alternated between forest and open meadows. Based on the amount of bear scat we saw, this trail is often frequented by bears.
