How have you been? I have diverted my interests somewhat and become re-interested in running instead of climbing mountains. Having said that, I did hike rim to rim to rim at the Grand Canyon last weekend in 16 hours 36 minutes. It was a tough hike.
And we climbed Mt. Whitney in August, so I haven't been completely out of the loop!
How have you been? Isn't the weather great?

I wish I could divert my attention away from
Summitpost, and computers in general.
Running is a great activity. As a person gets
older (God forbid), there needs to be some
type of physical activity for the heart and
mind.
I'm glad you haven't disappeared completely
from SP. I was ALWAYS a "fair-weather"
person, so that's probably why I find the
snowy windblown blizzard conditions
reflected in most SP-images to suit me just
fine.
I HAVE been planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, but it probably won't be until the
"dead of winter" when I can ENJOY the
crisp mornings and views that go on forever...
Just out of curiosity, but you haven't run into MOCKBA or Tanya in the GCNP area, have you???

Re: I think...I know of Tanya through Bo, but I am unfamiliar with "Mockba"? I have never personally met either one of them. I haven't been to Zion since possibly last winter. (I can't even remember!) I need to get back up there sometime soon though. It seems that my weekend marathons are taking up my time lately. But I would still like to climb Aires Butte in Zion. We tried a couple of years ago and were uncertain of the route and the exposure, so we turned around.

Glad to hear you're filling up your time with
something you enjoy doing. Too many of us tend to "flitter" away what little time we
have.
Who knows where the time goes?
