Well, Pellucid, that guy puts it in perspective. I had 405,800' for 2010 and it seemed like a lot. He must've gotten to that number in, oh, maybe 8 weeks, when he was just warming up.

Are we counting that little hill on the bridge in the Denver airport that leads from the A terminal to baggage claim? If so, I'd probably win this contest. Although, I do always take the moving walkway, so I think that might technically decrease my elevation gain.

I summited 164 peaks in 2010. I don't keep track of the vertical gain on each one but If I averaged 2,000 feet that would be about 326,000 feet of gain.
