Anybody been up Groover on Laurel Knob?

I've read a few TR's that make it look pretty sketch. Can anyone compare it to another 5.8, say, The Nose on Looking Glass?

Groover is well described in the North Carolina guide. I did it with a friend a few years ago. He could probably give you more detail. It is not hard climbing. You follow a crack much of the way. There are times you get out to do some face moves and then near the top there are more face moves, traverses and friction. Moves are not harder than 5.8. It is different than The Nose because there are not all the eyebrows. Maybe more like some of the 5.8 ish cracks on the South Face at Looking Glass. I believe the difficulty with Groover is that you have to commit once you reach a certain point because there is no way to rap until you get to the end. Also try the Carolina Climber Coalition site, I believe there may be a topo and mini guide there. The North Carolina guide book definitely describes it well.
