El Cap Bridge in Yosemite Valley is known as the Center of the Climbing Universe. Each Spring and Fall hundreds of climbers congregate on the bridge to exchange ideas, information and to meet old and new friends. This series explores the culture of the bridge and profiles some of the people who populate it.
This series was shot over the course of a week in June 2015. The climbers appearing in this series were standing on the bridge on the day of shooting. It was random and informal. Some climbers are well known other are not. We made no selection based on fame. These are their individual stories of being part of the climbing community.
