Freel Peak/Job/job sister conditions....

by yosemiteforlife67 » Mon May 12, 2014 4:37 am

Hello out there, i am planning on doing a loop up to Job Peak, then over to Job's sister and on to Freel peak and back down on Saturday. I was just wondering of anyone has been up in that area recently, and wanted to know exactly what the snow conditions might be. i expect some snow, but how deep? i do have snow shoes and microspikes but do not have any crampons. I have done this loop without snow......but never have with any substantial amount. Any help or condition update would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

On Tallac last weekend and Donner and Castle this weekend. No shoes, no crampons and was fine. Freel is a bit higher but it is all melting quick...
