I have a bunch of frequent flyer mileage and vacation banked and am planning a trip to Kenya and Madagascar starting in Sept. I'm looking for logistical tips for the N Face of Mt Kenya. I have the Burns guidebook and Wielochowski map. I'm not interested in hiring a guide so no guide spam please. Thanks in advance.

I'll be summiting Kilimanjaro on september 12 and I think that I'll need a few days to get in position. - my guess right now is that I'll be ready sep 14 or 15 for Mt Kenya (I need to be back in Europe sep 23)

Did you guys end up going? How did the route look at that time of year? I'm going to be in Kenya on business this September and wondering if it seems worthwhile to try to put something together.
