John Fischer died early last Saturday morning while riding his Kawasaki Concourse on 395 and on his way north to meet up with some friends up at Virginia Lakes for day of easy climbing. From the brief description, sounds like his mates did all they could. What a vivid contrast of being "bubbly" on the summit and incapacitated a very short time later.

Akron area resident is found in Baxter Park after going missing Friday night. Searchers looked for him 3 days and using a helicopter found him on Monday. His knee was messed up and he had lots of bug bites. This was the largest search in Baxter Park for the last 40 years.
