Sorry you're faced with another set-back Rob; I can't imagine how frustrating and scarey your days have been. Although having never met you, I do enjoy and applaud your constant energy on SP; hope that we can do an ice climb together sometime. BUT for now, relax! Take some time to yourself - you deserve it. :D
Wishing you a constant and progressive recovery - physically AND emotionally.

Wishing you a quick recovery Rob! Hang in there man! The mountains will still be there waiting for you when you're ready. And so will the hot llamas!

Dang! What bad fortune--though luckily it's not worse. Hope the recovery will be smooth and quick!

I spent about an hour with Rob today. He seems to be doing much better than when I saw him yesterday. He said they had him sit up for a bit and had his feet touch the floor and it hurt a bit, but he didi it. "Damn Physical therapists" was his remark. He will be moving to the Bay Area later this week, not sure exactly when. I will see him again tomorrow.

Thank you for the update, Dan! We are going to attempt to retrieve Rob's stuff from his wrecked car on Thursday. Any chance he mentioned plans to call the towing place to allow us permission to retrieve his gear?

It's so great to hear how much better Rob's doing!!

He mentioned it Carolyn, but don't know if the call has actually been made. I'll ask tomorrow.
