I got back from Silverton late last night. We went down Thursday night and climbed part of Whorehouse Hoses yesterday. Ice was great everywhere. Problem was that it snowed the whole time. We were hit by several small powder slides while climbing, and then after getting hit by a fairly large one, we ran away. It's a good thing we did. There are avy warnings today covering the entire San Juans.
