Geology of Rock Climbing

An interesting presentation is coming to Golden on 1 June at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden.

Flakes, Jugs & Splitters: The Geology of Rock Climbing, slide show and book signing (2009 Banff Book Festival winner) by geologist, writer, and climber Sarah Garlick.

This was fantastic. Not only is Sarah Garlick an excellent geologist and a great author/presenter, she is a MFBA climber as well. I really enjoyed her show.
