Bells Canyon Accidents

Postby tmtn93 » Sun Jun 27, 2010 1:56 am

Bells Canyon has sure been getting a lot of attention recently, therefore I have been telling myself and family members to stay away from it for now, if anyone is going up there to scramble around the waterfalls, be careful!!! My heart goes out to the missing woman, hopefully they find her.

I heard something about a stabbing at the lower reservoir recently, too? Someone mentioned it to me.

Sad stories, though.

dude. people get messed up on those waterfalls every year because they attempt to climb horribly unstable rock that happens to be very wet. staying on the trails and avoiding what, to most, is very dangerous terrain will leave you with no problems.

i would take my kids up there anytime.

true, but this year has had an unusual quick snowmelt, which even caused the creeks to flood.
