I thinks it's time for us to have a little gathering in the Northeast. I was thinking maybe next fall in the Whites, although Woodsxc thought of a Mainer's gathering this winter. Whatever develops let's try and do this.
So what is everybody's mind?

I'm in for almost any gathering, provided I can bum a ride off someone (or steal a car).

I'm going to be in the Whites this winter with some friends (who use SP but are not members..) I don't have the dates nailed down so list a few. I was thinking I would be up there over new years. (around 4 or 5 days)

I'd be down as long as there aren't any Bowl games or playoff games on. If it's still early enough in the fall, any thoughts on the Bonds?

For me, 2011 would be best and it would give everybody plenty of time to think, wimp out or get in shape.

I think a winter snowshoe hike up a peak would be a killer way to start off the new year. Jan 1st 2011?

(maybe a gully ice climb for the more advanced? )

I'd be down for a meet either in the Gunks or Adirondacks this fall. Free camping, great cragging and a lot of hiking to do for folks who aren't into technical climbing...

Definitely an interesting idea .... If the place and time frame y'all decide on works for me, I will try and be there. This fall, next fall, Adirondacks or Whites ... it's all good.

In the short-term, I'm going to play around on Whiteface on Friday unless the weather is crap. Probably one of the ski slides. Shoot me a PM if interested.

For me to get to Maine or the 'Dacks or 'Gunks would require significant advance planning, so somebody pick a time and place (why not two?) and I'll see what I can do.
