Plan to hike July 23rd from Many Glacier Road to Swiftcurrent Pass, then either along the Garden Wall or the trail past the chalet and follow the Highline Trail to Logan Pass. I know G-T-T-Sun Road isn't open yet but I am hoping it will be by then. Besides this, how are the conditions on the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail / Highline Trail and the crest of the Garden Wall itself? Any updates on conditions over the next 2 1/2 weeks will be MUCH appreciated!

The Highline Trail is listed in the Lake McDonald Area.

Note that when it is "closed" it is usually an official closure - people have fallen to their death from the trail near Logan Pass.
