Suggestion

Under the "Create Page" dropdown, would it be possible to add a note next to the "Mountain/Rock" selection that says something about checking to make sure the SP page doesn't already exist? It seems to be an ongoing problem with new members who might not understand how it works.

Right now the wording next to the add "Mountain/Rock" selection says:

Peaks, crags, walls, and boulders.

Perhaps it could be changed to:

Peaks, crags, walls, and boulders. Please check to make sure the peak/crag/wall/boulder doesn't already have an existing page. All duplicates will be deleted. Feel free to add any photos, trip reports, or additions corrections to the existing page.

Having a similar note would save a lot of time with duplicate entries and would avoid some of the hurt feelings that have existed when someone had their duplicate page deleted.

It is true that such information is in the FAQ's, but it would be good to have it right there when you add a page.
