Climber Science Program talk in Pasadena

by hamik » Tue Apr 02, 2013 1:16 am

The short: free slideshow with free snacks and beer in Pasadena! Wednesday, April 10, 6:30 pm, Caltech.

The long: My first day in Huaraz, I met a bunch of Americans at Cafe Andino who were in Peru to collect climate and glacier data for scientists. Well, met is a strong word: I just sat nearby and eavesdropped. Anyway, that very program has been ongoing for a few years, and Dr. John All, who leads it in conjunction with the AAC, is going to give a talk about the program and how climbers can get involved. There will also be a bunch of awesome pictures of one of the prettiest mountain ranges in the world. Hope to see y'all here...
