Hiking trails on the east side of Independence Pass??

by bldrbill » Wed May 22, 2013 12:44 am

I hiked a trail ~10 miles up the road from Twin Lakes and before the road began the more extreme ascent towards the summit.
However I don't remember the name of the trail and was hoping for a good online reference for this area, thoughts?

Thnx,

Bill

Simply asking for a good online reference for the names of the hiking trails along Hwy 82 approaching Independence Pass from the east side. I hiked one on the left side last summer and didn't catch the name.

The online Trails Illustrated map for the Independence Pass road east of the pass:

The online San Isabel NF map:

Left side meaning south side? Graham Gulch trail? Sayres Gulch trail? La Plata Peak trail?
