A juniper grows out of a gigantic boulder at the Pike Creek Camping area. Pike Rock is seen on the ridgeline to the right.

trees grow out of cracks in rocks faces and boulders, but never like this!

Yeah it was a good sized tree and the boulder was probably 5x the size of my jeep. Someone had spray painted below the tree using a template "No fires here please".
