Approach


Park at Vincints Gap off Hwy 2. Take the Mine Gulch Trail to the Mine Gulch Camping area (4.5 miles from Vincints Gap). From the camping area, cross the stream and start hiking up the Pine Mountain Ridge.

Route Description


While there is no trail for the first 2 miles and 2,000 feet of elevation gain the ridge is strait forward and does not require any bushwacking. After 2 miles one can progress up a faint trail to the top of Pine Mountain.
