above the clouds
I really enjoyed this climb. We started of in the clouds but emerged above them at the Lago Azzuro (we came from the Splugen pass). There are some small glaciers around the Suretta peaks and I'd like to try out different routes. Nice area.

Skitrip to Surettahorn
Ski "classic" trip from Splugen.
Wonderfull day of sun, ski and mountaineering.
After 1 week of storm, the last ridge to the top (about 150m) was quite difficult for the unconsistent snow.
Large panorama form the top.
Always axe and crampons in the rocksack.

Route Climbed: from Splugen pass Date Climbed: august 2002From Splugen pass in 3.30 hours.Not easy to find the way in the first part.No camera with me.
