Pk 7270 scramble notch

The hardest part of my weekend might have been this loose Class 3+ notch just before the summit of Pk 7270 (the north terminus of Jackita Ridge). I offer the photo to show how haphazard the rock of the ridge is. It's metamorphosed basalt like that of Hozomeen Mountain. Sept. 24, 2006.
