from the west sideAccompanied by my daughter Jackie, we approached this peak via a valley that lies between West Longwell Ridge and East Longwell Ridge. From the head of the valley we hiked/scrambled to the east up the west side of this peak to a saddle just to the northwest of the peak. Jackie was feeling dizzy so she waited for me a couple of hundred feet below the saddle while I went to the top and met up with her on my way down.

A LoopDid a nice loop, summiting via a traverse from Fire BM and then descended the fun canyon goofball talks about on the main page. Nice peak, which I dubbed 'The Raven' for the many ravens hovering around as we descended.

Another fun day in the Muddy's !Having went up most of the other canyons on this east side of the eastern Muddy's, i finally got to this one and point 1109 above after a friend ditched me to beat me to it. oh yeah, it is on ! ;)
