Seen from Point 11,930, highpoint of Galena Ridge.

To traverse to Brown Mountain, you can ascend this summit and head south or cross the snowfield diagonally to cut a little distance and elevation gain. The rest of the way is an easy hike on tundra to Brown's summit.
