Preserve - Our hike – September 27, 2017

Boletus erythropus found near Spinners („Przadki”) Nature Preserve in Czarnorzeki. He is very common in both deciduous and coniferous forests of Polish mountains. The tradition of collecting them for consumption exists only in the southern part of Poland. They are edible when cooked. Without the boiling they are regarded poison.
