We decided to get an early start and give the Cooper Spur/Northeast Ridge line a shot from a low jump-off point rather than move up to Tie-In Rock higher on the moraine (left). June 30, 2008.

's going on, Melba?! We'd had lightning strikes cause meadow fires the evening before. The skies to the North in the Gorge(opposite of the direction of the photo) were not looking good. Right around us, everything was fine. See the TR.
