Route Description

A good and popular route engineered by Ronolevsky up the center of Angels Landing. With clean rock and good protection, this route offers a great introduction to wall climbing techniques. However, many new to the wall game find themselves running out of time on this route and rapping in the dark. One soloist lost his life rapping of the ends of his rope on this route. If a team is proficient in movement in the steps, they should not have any problem gaining the summit.

Essential Gear

Tons of stoppers (flared, regular, and tricky ones) Cams from small to 3.5" quickdraws. A hook just in case. A HEADLAMP
