Re: This is the route?Although they're often just two or three feet wide, these trails created and "maintained" by the goats are in amazingly good condition; the goats do know what they are doing. Another plus: no litter. There's even a surprisingly low amount of droppings on the trails. I guess the goats, unlike horses and cows, have the sense not to crap where they walk!

Re: I am GladActually, Steve, I often can't decide whether it would be an eagle or a mountain goat if I could be some animal for a day. Many times, I have watched a goat hop on ugly-looking cliffs and feel just sheer wonder (and jealousy).
Plus, if you were a goat, you could easily get to places where you could be on SP without ever being caught by your wife!
