Wow a perfect picture I beleive. You have a wonderful collection of shots on the site. Not only are many of the shots beautiful, they are also quite varied. Thanks for sharing them.

Also thanks for taking the time to check out my page. I hope to snap a few good one in the future :)

It must be so interesting to see them in person. They are so beautiful... even their name is fun to say "Puffins". Puffins. Puffins. I love saying it! Thanks for the great photo.

I love puffins. I wish we had them here in the U.S.
Does anyone know of a place in the US that has puffins?

Alaska has the tufted puffin and there are some in Newfoundland (kind of close to the US). They are the coolest birds.

We have tufted puffins on the Oregon Coast. Haystack Rock is a nesting site for them as is Yaquina Head.

Thank you BCJ. The Oregon coast and Haystack rock would be a much more practical place for me to visit.

The tufted puffins here aren't nearly as beautiful as the ones you photographed. They can also be found further south along the coast.

I posted a photo of a guy hunting these off the north coast of Iceland. Was kind of brutal but very fast and about as "humane" as one can hunt I think. But not sure how anyone can hunt these guys. They are amazing and I enjoyed my time in Iceland seeing them. Really nice photo you have here.
