Wow - what a mountain. Went with a guide - just the two of us. Left at 4am - took our time and had the mountain to ourselves all day long. Sat at the summit in just a T-shirt - beautiful weather. The guide short roped me and we played around sometimes chosing a more difficult route to expand my comfort level. We came up a good section in the dark . On the way back down I was shocked to see the steepness of what we had climbed. (I am glad I did not see it on the way up). The technical climbing part was not as scary as the books say but it is no walk in the park. I thought exposure meant real steep drop offs and climbing where there is air underneath you. This climbing is a series of shelves rather than real wall climbing.

Awesome Climb! very steep though, and the "kneebanging" descent was not fun :( I dont know which way Gerry Roach climbed this mountain, but the last thousand feet is not all fatal drops as he exclaims in his guidebook. I think he just gets a little over dramatic in most of his "descriptions".
