| kavak | 4th of July TH/West Ridge ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 23, 2008 | |
| While everyone else seemed intent on Arapohoe Peaks and Lake Dorothy, I chose to climb from the Arapahoe pass trail steeply to the west ridge and then over the rougher ridge to the true summit. Hard to tell which is the true summit so climbed both. Lots of storm activity started to brew as I was hiking out. Sure enough Park County (in the mountains) had its first tornado ever recorded at the Eleven Mile Reservoir Campground. | ||

| The wife and I were headed to Skywalker but high winds and new snow at the trailhead led us to something easier. Cloudy, windy and cold. | ||

| hgrapid | Route Climbed: Fourth of July Trailhead/Arapahoe Pass Date Climbed: August, 2002 ![]() | |
| My first time climbing Quarter to Five Peak was a beautiful day. Lots of people were in the area, but none were climbing the mountain that day. I hiked to the first summit, and looked at what was next. I hiked and boulder hopped to the second summit. I left my pack on the second summit, and headed towards the actual summit. I had to climb/boulder hop on the west side of the mountain because the boulders along the ridgeline were too large. It took 10 minutes or so, but I got up to the summit. It was really fun! | ||
