Sorry you couldn't do Mera - the Hinku/Hongu valleys are also wonderfully peaceful compared to the Khumbu. Do you happen to have a pic of Ang Kami? (16 years later we also had a sirdar called Ang Kami. Most probably a totally different person.) I see you had quite a big group - how many were you? Going against the style of your trip report, could you give a rough breakdown of the trip / number of days / any useful beta? Thank you.
