Red Mtn ridgeline to n. summit
Beautiful area despite the fact that our visibilitiy was often limited by snow flurries and clouds. Yet, I love these snow peaks and never get tired of them.

That's a good shot Dean. Because of the sideways direction this shot is taken at, you can actually see that the angle of the snow is maybe 45 degrees or so.

really? I thought the trees on the right were growing "crooked" (inclined).

Which is it Dean ? :)

Eric is right, the trees you mention are crooked. Check out the trees on top of the ridge and you'll see that they are straight up.
A nice snow hike and a great conditioner. My quads barked at me for several days afterwards.

What a rakish angle! You really get a sense of the space. The ridge looks pure as the driven snow. :-)
