Redtail Hawk on Bald Eagle

If you stare at the sky long enough something's gonna' happen… It'll get dark; a bird will drop something on you; rain will come. In my case it is often a matter of "staring at the sky” thru a camera and lens. Lucked out here. Was attempting to photograph this eagle when, yep, outta' the blue this redtail hawk drops into the lens and onto this eagle's back. Caught this image of them coming apart.

Whoa!

Nice one, your nature shots are amazing. Gotta have a camera at all times! I admire small intelligent animals with a massive ego.

PS photographed my first vulture today. Was after eagles but the vulture was the first to arrive at the dinner table...
