As you know...

...Rinderhorn, Altels and Balmhorn are all on my wish list (Doldenhorn I've climbed twice). But from your photos I'm also beginning to quite like the look of the Turtman valley...

Re: As you know...

Starting in the Turtmann valley, there is plenty do do.

For hikers and scramblers there are a whole lot of 3000-ers that don't require crossing any glacier, the highest and most visited ones being Barrhorn (3610m) and Schöllihorn (3500m).

Then there are the likes of Les Diablons (3609m), Brunegghorn (3833m) and Bishorn (4153m), not quite suitable for hikers but still with some fairly easy normal routes (PD- and F+).

And for those that find that too easy, there are plenty of other options, including the Bishorn east ridge and Brunegghorn NW ridge (both AD-), Brunegghorn NE ridge (AD+), Brunegghorn N face and Bishorn ENE face (both D).

And, last but not least, there are lots of short, bolted rock routes not far from the Turtmannhütte, and you could easily spend a week having fun on those.
